windows explorer videos folder

simple question. when I delete recorded videos from the folder in explorer does that action also free up the equivelent amount of space it took up? is that true of ANY file I delete in explorer? I cannot find an answer.

  Hello Marc,

  Are you deleting it or just sending it to Windows Trash Bin? If so, you would need to also empty the Trash Bin in order to actually free the space.
