Update of my DivX Pro Player 10.8.8

A screen keeps jumping out of the left bottom corner of my W10Pro screen & also in front of my Player 10.8.8 Pro, if I start it. They are offering me a new update. Wow. Several times I have accepted the offer. You would push the Update button, e.g. Then I get another smaller screen "DivX Plus Setup" telling: The DivX Plus installer has been blocked from connecting to the internet due to proxy, network, or security settings (whose settings?- non of the other programs I use have any problem). Please download the offline installer here to try again. OK

I clicked "here" and it took me to the https://support.divx.com/hc/en-us with a lot of buttons. Wow. I've got only 30 years of education & I play with computers only from around 1985, but in the past I was capable to update all the DivX Pro & Non-pro programs. Until now.

Does anybody have the secret knowledge, how to update the DivX Pro Player 10.8.8? It would make me happy, if I still can make it... I have paid them for the Pro version. God Bless Everybody, especially the Queen!
