Divx media server keeps crashing

Every time I try to start the media server, it automatically stops working, starts the trouble shooter and eventually closes automatically.

I updated to the last version, tried it both with internet off and on, but it keeps happening.

  I have the same problem. I have reinstalled, ran compatibility settings and so on. Is there a resolution?

  Hi,

  Most cases of this happening is when one (or more) of videos files being shared are "corrupted", causing the DMS (DivX Media Server) to crash.

  If this started happening just recently, try to remove (delete or move to a non-shared folder) the most recently added files. If the crash stops from happening, you can narrow it down the culprit file.
