How do I change the font, color or delay of my subtitles in the DivX Player?

When playing a subtitle file you can change the font, color (external subtitles only) or delay by going to File > Preferences > Subtitles

Once you change the font and color, you can select "Always use my font" to make it the default.
If the subtitles are being displayed ahead or behind the audio track of the video file, you can use the delay option to correct it.
