How do I specify what folder is shared in the DivX Player Media Server?

Note: With the release of DivX Software version 11.16, we’ve removed the DivX Media Server from DivX Software. This allows us to focus our efforts on our core features and most popular tools. If you wish to continue using the DivX Media Server, our DivX Support team is happy to help you access a previous version of the software (11.15 and earlier). Additionally, there are many robust and popular third-party alternatives available today – such as Plex – that specialize in local media streaming.

To specify the folder you would like to share in the DivX Media Server in DivX 11 please follow the instructions below. If you are trying to find instructions for doing this in DivX Software version 10.x please go here.

Steps:

Hover over the "Cast" icon in the lower right hand corner of the DivX Software and click "Settings"

or Select the "DivX Media Server" option in the Library menu:
Select the “Folders” tab:
Click on “Add Folder”:
Select the Folder you would like to share:
To remove folders Click on “Remove Folder”.
